I started bugging them about it months ago, and last month I finally got
advised that they had no plans to introduce any elf Motif at all.  Until
then, they gave me that same response I got from you.  I wasn't
endlessly bugging them, just a polite reminder about once every 45 days.
They sound like a lost cause to me.  You can forward this to them if you
want.
