hi, there! to perform remote source upgrade from 3.5 to 4.1-STABLE: 1) make buildworld 2) make buildkernel KERNEL=GENERIC && make installkernel KERNEL=GENERIC 3) reboot (do not forget to disable ipfw if you have it enabled) 4) make installworld 5) mergemaster, MAKEDEV, update /etc/fstab etc.; reboot /fjoe To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
