Hello all, I am running FreeBSD on a Dell laptop (vostro 1000) and don't really have too many problems with it i have most things working now. I used linux for a while and so "Cut my teeth" on that but i have found freebsd to be much better suited to my needs. I have one small issue that is eating away at me that i hope someone might be able to help with, I am using syslog-ng and my battery doesn't appear to be supported by the ACPI in the bios so i get this a lot in the logfile : Dec 30 18:47:37 vostro ACPI-1304: *** Error: Method execution failed [\_SB_.BAT1._BST] (Node 0xc4bd27a0), AE_NOT_FOUND Is there any way to stop it logging every few seconds ? I have got "hald" working and can see the detail on the battery in the gnome applet but it still lists this in the log. Cheers, Darran http://www.deejc.net
