I know what it was... ./CVS/Repository pointed to /home/cvs, $CVSROOT was set to /home/ncvs, cvs commit used CVSROOT to do the access checks, then politly deposited your commit in the ./CVS/Repository area. Yep.. I can duplicate that here on my repositories, sure enough that does cause a commit to the wrong area. Can we some how convert /home/cvs to READ ONLY cvs access?? We still need to be able to do cvs co, but that is all. I think a chmod -R a-r on ~cvs/386BSD whould do the trick. -- Rod Grimes rgrimes@gndrsh.aac.dev.com Accurate Automation Company Custom computers for FreeBSD From owner-cvs-other Sat Sep 3 21:29:57 1994 Return-Path: cvs-other-owner Received: (from root@localhost) by freefall.cdrom.com (8.6.8/8.6.6) id VAA15913 for cvs-other-outgoing; Sat, 3 Sep 1994 21:29:57 -0700 Received: from Root.COM (implode.Root.COM [198.145.90.241]) by freefall.cdrom.com (8.6.8/8.6.6) with ESMTP id VAA15901; Sat, 3 Sep 1994 21:29:35 -0700 Received: from corbin.Root.COM (corbin.Root.COM [198.145.90.2]) by Root.COM (8.6.8/8.6.5) with ESMTP id VAA05622; Sat, 3 Sep 1994 21:29:43 -0700 Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by corbin.Root.COM (8.6.9/8.6.5) with SMTP id VAA08330; Sat, 3 Sep 1994 21:29:26 -0700 Message-Id: <199409040429.VAA08330@corbin.Root.COM> X-Authentication-Warning: corbin.Root.COM: Host localhost didn't use HELO protocol To: "Rodney W.
