As such, the following is a list of the current contents of /usr/src/share/FAQ with items that have been incorpored into either the handbook or the FAQ marked with stars (*). If there are no objections, I will remove the files. Files marked with a ? are things that may very well contain incorrect information with regard to recent snapshots, 2.0.5, and ultimately 2.1. They should be reviewed and edited, or removed. Text/ CONTRIB.FreeBSD * FreeBSD.FAQ ? HW.TROUBLE MIRROR.SITES ? README REGISTER.FreeBSD ? RELNOTES.FreeBSD ROADMAP ? I searched the FAQS, Tutorials, Newsgroups, and mailing lists to figure out what was going on. I was only able to put the pieces together after extensive searching. Would a Tutorial describing the steps necessary to get the 3c509b working be helpful? My cards seems to be working perfectly under a light load... - Brad Schick schick@interaccess.com From owner-freebsd-doc Thu May 25 05:16:01 1995 Return-Path: doc-owner Received: (from majordom@localhost) by freefall.cdrom.com (8.6.10/8.6.6) id FAA22624 for doc-outgoing; Thu, 25 May 1995 05:16:01 -0700 Received: from grendel.csc.smith.edu (grendel.csc.smith.edu [131.229.222.23]) by freefall.cdrom.com (8.6.10/8.6.6) with ESMTP id FAA22617 for ; Thu, 25 May 1995 05:15:59 -0700 Received: from localhost (jfieber@localhost) by grendel.csc.smith.edu (8.6.5/8.6.5) id IAA15331; Thu, 25 May 1995 08:17:15 -0400 From: jfieber@cs.smith.edu (John Fieber) Message-Id: <199505251217.IAA15331@grendel.csc.smith.edu> Subject: Re: Etherlink III Tutorial To: schick@interaccess.com (Brad Schick) Date: Thu, 25 May 1995 08:17:15 -0400 (EDT) Cc: doc@freebsd.org In-Reply-To: <199505250731.CAA13967@flowbee.interaccess.com> from "Brad Schick" at May 25, 95 02:16:07 am Content-Type: text Content-Length: 442 Sender: doc-owner@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk Brad Schick writes: > I was only able to put the pieces together after extensive > searching. Ultimately, the driver needs some work, but in the meantime a little tutorial would be most useful! -john === jfieber@cs.smith.edu ================================================ =================================== Come up and be a kite! --K.
