Its amazing how a day or two off from work can bring new blood into the brain 8) I might mention that I was also trying to get slowaris2.5 fcs/sdk and freebsd boot from the same disk. Solaris does some really strange geometry translation, and likes to round cilinder boundaries. ...details on that solution available on request.. ps: you preaty much need a pentium-pro to run bloataris at the same comfort level as freebsd on a p100.
