I'm not really interested in a brand that I don't recognize but it is interesting to have the Adaptec 2940UW onboard. It's funny you have any trouble. It's exactly the same X server. What problems are you having? In any case, you should be asking freebsd-questions, not freebsd-doc, which is really for people writing documentation. The FreeBSD handbook currently doesn't cover X, but "The Complete FreeBSD", available from Walnut Creek CDROM, does. Contact them at info@cdrom.com.
