If I wait long enough, it seems that it will eventually continue but cannot transmit packets at all on the ed0 interface. This is a single-homed host with a WD8013EPC configured to be at port 0x280, irq 5 and iomem of 0xd8000. If I boot my previous -stable, it comes up normally although having done a "make world" things like ps don't do as they should :-( michael
