Inconsistencies in the ftp mirrors are real annoying. Perhaps I should just removing the CNAMEs when problems like this are pointed out? Every time I've tried to bring the issues to the people that run these mirrors my emails have been ignored. Most annoying. There was an announcement about ftp5 being off the air for awhile, but ftp2 doesn't have any excuse. -DG David Greenman Core-team/Principal Architect, The FreeBSD Project From owner-freebsd-hubs Mon Apr 14 18:29:17 1997 Return-Path: Received: (from root@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) id SAA01810 for hubs-outgoing; Mon, 14 Apr 1997 18:29:17 -0700 (PDT) Received: from root.com (implode.root.com [198.145.90.17]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) with ESMTP id SAA01799 for ; Mon, 14 Apr 1997 18:29:14 -0700 (PDT) Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by root.com (8.8.5/8.6.5) with SMTP id SAA17126; Mon, 14 Apr 1997 18:30:40 -0700 (PDT) Message-Id: <199704150130.SAA17126@root.com> X-Authentication-Warning: implode.root.com: localhost [127.0.0.1] didn't use HELO protocol To: Bill Fenner cc: hubs@freebsd.org Subject: Re: ftp2 and ftp5 troubles In-reply-to: Your message of "Mon, 14 Apr 1997 17:26:54 PDT." <97Apr14.172656pdt.177486@crevenia.parc.xerox.com> From: David Greenman Reply-To: dg@root.com Date: Mon, 14 Apr 1997 18:30:40 -0700 Sender: owner-hubs@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk >ftp5.freebsd.org doesn't allow anonymous logins!
