Just wondering what came of the work referred to in the 'WebAdmin'
and 'Config Manifesto' threads (Romeo and Juliet et al. :).  Mike
and Jordan seemed to have been the primary participants, although
Terry made some salient points in favor of LDAP.  At the time, the
LDAP port required a number of patches.  It this still the case
(and where can they be found?)
