The problem has to do with Linux and FreeBSD disagreeing about what signals to send for various user-space transgressions. ACL does its own memory management, and is gettting the wrong signal. We've just started work on resolving this again - I hope that we have a solution to this particular problem at least. There are also some changes that need to be made to the way that emulated processes are started to resolve the different initial signal handling states. -- \\ Sometimes you're ahead, \\ Mike Smith \\ sometimes you're behind. \\ mike@smith.net.au \\ The race is long, and in the \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ end it's only with yourself. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-emulation" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-emulation Fri Apr 24 04:59:53 1998 Return-Path: Received: (from majordom@localhost) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.8/8.8.8) id EAA23184 for freebsd-emulation-outgoing; Fri, 24 Apr 1998 04:59:53 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG) Received: from ns.extech.msk.su (ns.extech.msk.su [193.124.244.33]) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.8/8.8.8) with ESMTP id EAA23175 for ; Fri, 24 Apr 1998 04:59:46 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from valera@extech.msk.su) Received: from expert.extech.msk.su (expert.extech.msk.su [193.124.244.38]) by ns.extech.msk.su (8.8.8/8.8.8) with ESMTP id QAA14905 for ; Fri, 24 Apr 1998 16:01:02 +0400 (MSD) Received: from EXPERT/SpoolDir by expert.extech.msk.su (Mercury 1.21); 24 Apr 98 15:59:49 +0300 Received: from SpoolDir by EXPERT (Mercury 1.30); 24 Apr 98 15:59:32 +0300 Received: from extech.msk.su by expert.extech.msk.su (Mercury 1.30) with ESMTP; 24 Apr 98 15:59:24 +0300 Message-ID: <35407E96.98E042CB@extech.msk.su> Date: Fri, 24 Apr 1998 15:59:19 +0400 From: Valera Orchikov Reply-To: valera@expert.extech.msk.su Organization: rrscce X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.04 [en] (Win95; I) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: freebsd-emulation Subject: help Content-Type: text/plain; charset=koi8-r Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi all!
