I've been scratching my head with NIS trying to get it going 100% - what are the steps I need to do when I have 2 machines, where one is the master server (and it's own client) and the other is the secondary server (and also a client)? I've seen quite a few knobs in /etc/rc.conf to twiddle - which ones are appropriate? Stephen -- The views expressed above are not those of PGS Tensor.
