OK, that's one thing that they don't have in common. You mentioned you had a crash - we also had a crash about 2 - 3 weeks before we noticed anything wrong. When we found the corruption we backed up the filesystem there and then, and ran FSCK on it - which did't report any errors... So far we've put it in the 'keep an eye' on arena, and made sure the backups get done on a regular basis...
