I don't remember merging the change to RELENG_3. : I got the impression that only critical PRs are MFC'd before they are closed. Am I wrong about that? Setting syscons colours my means of vidcontrol(1) in rc.i386 has a drawback - those colour settings are lost after running applications that reset colors to defaults. (Lynx is an example.) Now since PR kern/13176 has been closed, there is a superior method available to set syscons colours. I'd prefer to have PR 13176 MFC'd, its in -CURRENT since 1999/11/08. (Although merging PR 9246 too could not be wrong.) I've CC'd this to yokota@FreeBSD.org who commited the fix to PR 13176.
