But the shutdown -h command still does not halt the system. And while the PCMCIA card mgr starts, and recognizes the card, the modem commands cannot access it. I used to use kppp on linux, which worked flawlessly, but it doesn't work here, for some reason. Also, i tried compiling with snd0 turned on, but the compile generated an unresolved label error, so i hade to remove that option as well. I don't get it.
