Now the good part. I have made up my mind (?) to go the FreeBSD way instead of RedHat 5.?.?. Now I need to put a box of hardware together, starting with the motherboard. 1) I would like to use AMD products, 2) Does Intel's P3 mate with FreeBSD? 3) a pointer to a complete list of hardware that works, disks, video and sound . . . The this harware works because "my" box works, not, the manufacture's try it kind of list. Just getting started and I want to do this without hardware funnies (if possible). Oh, running dimwit95 on 486/100mhz with a vintage year of 1994 AMI BIOS, but I need to keep it as is for other windim stuff. I am a old hand with PDPs and RT-11 & RSX in assembler land, subroutines are not Objects to me yet.
