Howdy: I have some recent interest in Realtime applications. Maybe someone with more background may want to take a look at this resource from NIST: http://www.isd.cme.nist.gov/projects/rcs_lib/ It runs on SunOS and Linux (among others, so I don't see why it shouldn't run on FreeBSD.
