I'm sorry if this is a newbie question but, I've got a copy of the early sparc64 port from the architecure/sparc64 project page on www.freebsd.org. I have also emailed the guy who wrote the FAQ about it over a week ago and haven't recieved a supply. What is the status of the port? Do you want more hackers? How many hackers are working on theis port? I've worked on linux-kernel (porting to sun3/80) and I'm interested in working on freebsd/sparc64. Any info about whats been going on, who's who etc would be handy! cheers. lamester@netscape.net ____________________________________________________________________ More than just email--Get your FREE Netscape WebMail account today at http://home.netscape.com/netcenter/mail To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-sparc" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-sparc Thu Feb 4 06:09:50 1999 Return-Path: Received: (from majordom@localhost) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.8/8.8.8) id GAA19913 for freebsd-sparc-outgoing; Thu, 4 Feb 1999 06:09:50 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from owner-freebsd-sparc@FreeBSD.ORG) Received: from fep02-svc.tin.it (mta02-acc.tin.it [212.216.176.33]) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.8/8.8.8) with ESMTP id GAA19899 for ; Thu, 4 Feb 1999 06:09:43 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from paipai@box4.tin.it) Received: from winworkstation ([212.216.235.33]) by fep02-svc.tin.it (InterMail v4.0 201-221-105) with SMTP id <19990204140932.GPWP13403.fep02-svc@winworkstation> for ; Thu, 4 Feb 1999 15:09:32 +0100 From: "Paolo Di Francesco" To: freebsd-sparc@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Thu, 4 Feb 1999 15:15:19 -0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Subject: Need help for my hardware X-mailer: Pegasus Mail for Win32 (v3.01d) Message-Id: <19990204140932.GPWP13403.fep02-svc@winworkstation> Sender: owner-freebsd-sparc@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I'm waiting for my new AXi motherboard (maybe I'll have it in my hands in 10-15 days). Now I have a problem and I hope someone can help me. I want to buy a VGA and I have not so much money needed for a creator. So I decided to buy the ATI video card (usually there are specs on line somewhere and I hope they will be useful for the port....) but in the Third Party page there's only the Sun Part Number and no ATI Part Number. I need that code so I can look for it locally in Italy. P.S. I hope it's not OT. Thanks.
