I'm still waiting for the Classic, but I'm told it should be here "soon". I've been busy trudging through FreeBSD and OpenBSD source code for the past week or so, and I think I'm beginning to get a handle on what's involved. If this turns into an abortive porting attempt, my minimum aim is to document what I find out, since I haven't been able to locate any other info on porting FreeBSD between architectures. Is anybody else actively looking at a FreeBSD port to 32-bit SPARC architectures -- or has anybody started such an effort in the past? Just trying to avoid wheel-reinvention where I can.
