The hardware is in production and is stable, and the platform is X86/PC. Further, there is already a windows NT device driver up and running - you will have access to full source code of this existing driver, plus anything else you need. You just need to allow us to do, in freeBSD, everything we currently do with our NT implementaion - which is simply to pull images at a regular interval out of the video stream and write them to a file. You will also be required to train some people on my staff in the implementation of this device driver. Please respond to this email if you are interested. -john ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-jobs" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-jobs Tue Mar 14 9:10: 6 2000 Delivered-To: freebsd-jobs@freebsd.org Received: from wall.polstra.com (rtrwan160.accessone.com [206.213.115.74]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 81CC137B9FA for ; Tue, 14 Mar 2000 09:10:04 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from jdp@polstra.com) Received: from vashon.polstra.com (vashon.polstra.com [206.213.73.13]) by wall.polstra.com (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id JAA16304; Tue, 14 Mar 2000 09:10:00 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from jdp@polstra.com) Received: (from jdp@localhost) by vashon.polstra.com (8.9.3/8.9.1) id JAA54094; Tue, 14 Mar 2000 09:10:00 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from jdp@polstra.com) Message-ID: X-Mailer: XFMail 1.3 [p0] on FreeBSD X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit MIME-Version: 1.0 Date: Tue, 14 Mar 2000 09:10:00 -0800 (PST) Reply-To: recruiting@BeComm.com Organization: Polstra & Co., Inc. I have been working with BeComm since last fall, and I've been truly impressed by the company and the technology they've developed. For more information, see . If you're a serious software developer then I think you'd like working at BeComm. The focus there is on doing things the best possible way, rather than the most expedient way.
