Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-mozilla@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I have been subscribed to this list for about 3 weeks now and havent seen any postings yet even around the M12 binaries being released for FreeBSD. I was really pleased to see the M12 binary available after having no luck with executing from a ports build - but it's still pretty unstable in comparison to the win32 builds. Can anyone shed some light on the progress of the FreeBSD builds and any other related information ? Just some banter on how things are with those working on moz ... There are a bunch of FreeBSD guys floating around, running tinderboxes and fixing bugs etc. There was actually a bug found in the dll loader in pre 3.4 versions that mozilla helped uncover and was fixed just in the nick of time before 3.4 RELEASE went out the door. Open Source working at it's best. Some good mozilla ng's are builds and unix. This web page has all of the mozilla lists. http://www.mozilla.org/community.html I am glad to hear you got the mozFreeBSD binaries to run. If you ever want a current binary just kick me an email. Since i am running a FreeBSD tinderbox here i can tarball em up for you anytime. M13 is where things are at right now. If you do any UI work, there is a lot of outside effort being put into various mozilla UI possibilities. Hope this gives you some info on what's up. pete Peter Lockhart wrote: > I have been subscribed to this list for about 3 weeks now and havent seen > any postings yet even around the M12 binaries being released for FreeBSD. > > I was really pleased to see the M12 binary available after having no luck > with executing from a ports build - but it's still pretty unstable in > comparison to the win32 builds. > > Can anyone shed some light on the progress of the FreeBSD builds and any > other related information ?
