Each vendor implements sound hardware differently and the bktr driver can sometimes fail to idenfity the card make. And so you get audio problems. Ok, first we need more information on your system. Can you send me the output from dmesg and also from fxtv -debug startup we need to know how the bktr driver has detected your card.
