In RELENG_4 this is apparently no longer true: a memory disk is seen as /dev/md0c and I have no idea how to get the info that was previously available. Knowing the boot device would suffice, but i don't see this in the sysctl variables either. You will probably want to gut the net version for bridge. I also modified the ../bridge/floppy.tree/etc/mfs.rc file to resemble the 3 version and also added a -f to umount because my floopy wasn't .. .. cd /etc rm login.conf rc gzip -d *.gz pwd_mkdb -p ./master.passwd umount -f /boot_floppy .. As far as gutting PICOBSD and crunch.conf, I commented out anything I didn't need to leave room for additional features. You will probably have some ideas as to what is required for a bare-bones floppy. I've been cvsuping my sorces from the git go and still have yet to get them to work. My revs probably aren't what was intended, but untill the bugs are worked out...
