The first installs comm.jar from Sun's Java Communication API, the second one is an implementation, which is based on 'official' FreeBSD commapi. These ports are for use with native FreeBSD jdk 1.2.2, the commapi implementation has been patched to work with it (uses poll instead of select). I hope that these are useful to someone other also (and maybe they'll get commited someday ?)
