The drive worked with a particular version of netbsd-current, so I believe the hardware is ok. This is a new installation of freebsd 4.5, with the tape drive connected to a second pci card. A hard drive (ad6) works through that card. I've seen several posts about ATA tapes with trouble in 4.5, but no resolutions.. does anyone know if this is fixed somehow?
