I'm currently uploading a x86 5.0-snapshot release to ftp-master.
The likely location will be /pub/FreeBSD/snapshots/i386 (which has
been empty for quite some time). I realize that we have snapshot
servers for this purpose, but I would like to widen the distribution
of these snapshots to allow more users to test 5.0-CURRENT. FTP
installation directory and mini-ISO should take up about 550
megabytes.
Sometime soon, I will also be making some sparc64 bootstrap tools
available in /pub/FreeBSD/development/sparc64. The total file size
for this directory will be less than 200 megabytes.
If you need to make space for these new bits, then I would suggest
excluding the 4.2-RELEASE directories from your mirror scripts.
Thanks,
- Murray
