Ya know what, I think I just answered my own question: /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/GENERIC However, this spawns a new question... If I make changes to the file above, must I build a new kernel or simply restart the computer? What is the command to 'make world' and where (cd to where) must I execute the command? options SC_HISTORY_SIZE=200 # number of history buffer lines I gots to crank this up to like 1000. With 512mb RAM should I worry? # The following options will let you change the default colors of syscons. options SC_NORM_ATTR="(FG_GREEN|BG_BLACK)" options SC_NORM_REV_ATTR="(FG_YELLOW|BG_GREEN)" options SC_KERNEL_CONS_ATTR="(FG_RED|BG_BLACK)" options SC_KERNEL_CONS_REV_ATTR="(FG_BLACK|BG_RED)" These lines look fun :) # If you have a two button mouse, you may want to add the following option to use the right button of the mouse to paste text. options SC_TWOBUTTON_MOUSE Innnnnteresting. I thought this would only need be handled by the moused binary, no? Why not?
