Reading the ia64-list indicates that this may cause some problems. One example is a USB-keyboard related issue at http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=41987+0+/usr/local/www/db/text/2003/freebsd-ia64/20031116.freebsd-ia64 The suggested workaround is to use the serial console. Does the speed default to 9600? Do I grab a recent snapshot from ftp2.freebsd.org and cvsup, or will 5.2 beta ISO's be available for ia64 in the near future? regards Claus Yahoo!
