Have you tried reading the ppp man page? The other possibility is to use an isp-interface, which doesn't support bonding at all. Anyway, the quick way to limit ppp to only one channel is to make sure that you do NOT have ``set device /dev/i4brbch0 /dev/i4brbch1'' in /etc/ppp/ppp.conf. You want ``set device /dev/i4brbch0'' instead, i.e. only use one channel. --- Gary Jennejohn / garyj[at]jennejohn.org gj[at]freebsd.org gj[at]denx.de From owner-freebsd-isdn@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Nov 29 12:19:38 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A8AFA16A4CE for ; Sat, 29 Nov 2003 12:19:38 -0800 (PST) Received: from tmailb1.svr.pol.co.uk (tmailb1.svr.pol.co.uk [195.92.168.141]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4632D43F75 for ; Sat, 29 Nov 2003 12:19:37 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from terry@mrtux.co.uk) Received: from modem-1439.zebra.dialup.pol.co.uk ([81.76.149.159] helo=mrtux.co.uk) by tmailb1.svr.pol.co.uk with esmtp (Exim 4.14) id 1AQBWM-0008Ah-Ml for freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org; Sat, 29 Nov 2003 20:16:50 +0000 Received: from mrtux.co.uk (games [192.168.2.138]) by mrtux.co.uk (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4D7B0204C for ; Sat, 29 Nov 2003 19:30:35 +0000 (GMT) Message-ID: <3FC8FF4B.5040303@mrtux.co.uk> Date: Sat, 29 Nov 2003 20:19:23 +0000 From: Terry User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031013 Thunderbird/0.3 X-Accept-Language: en-us, en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org References: <20031129200046.1644016A500@hub.freebsd.org> In-Reply-To: <20031129200046.1644016A500@hub.freebsd.org> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Subject: Re: 64k Channel only X-BeenThere: freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list Reply-To: terry@mrtux.co.uk List-Id: Using ISDN with FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 29 Nov 2003 20:19:38 -0000 freebsd-isdn-request@freebsd.org wrote: >Send freebsd-isdn mailing list submissions to > freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org > >To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-isdn >or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > freebsd-isdn-request@freebsd.org > >You can reach the person managing the list at > freebsd-isdn-owner@freebsd.org > >When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific >than "Re: Contents of freebsd-isdn digest..." > > >Today's Topics: > > 1. 64k isdn setup (Terry) > 2. It's always a good idea to copy the list so that others can benefit from any useful information. It's also customary to copy the originator, although that's not really required since the originator is obviously reading the list (unless otherwise indicated). --- Gary Jennejohn / garyj[at]jennejohn.org gj[at]freebsd.org gj[at]denx.de
