They have 2 boxes (one for SAN environment which is all FC and the other one is for NAS which is all IP). On the NAS they support NFS and CIFS protocols and on the SAN they have support for storage devices and tape devices. Company is very aggressive, within the last 2+ years they have come up with 2 products which that are already shipping and they have customers already available who are the both base customers and customers interested in the box and going through pilot programs. Group This group's responsibilities are varied and development is in FreeBSD/Unix (very little Windows) environment. No. of openings: 2 Looking for a strong C developer working on system configuration, system clustering, interface between application code and the kernel, developing management API, possible exposing a SOAP interface into the system, communication with the GUI layer, improving the internal security of the system, would be a plus if some OS filter driver code development (proprietary cryptography hardware)...past experience will dictate their responsibilities in the group. They want creative, aggressive, "bright" people with an application background...not a "services" background.
