I also saw that mozilla ( freebsd native ) was upgraded to 1.3,2, so I did that as well. While I was at it, used portupgrade -rf to reinstall all of the XFree86-4.3.0,1 ports as well including Xft. In addition, I used portupgrade -rf to rebuild every port that is linked to X. However, mozilla 1.3,2 is locking up very hard. I removed all plugins except the stock null plugin and that still did nothing. So far, highlighting a URL and trying to backspace over it locks it up, as well as going to edit, preferences and trying to change the default page. Is this a known issue? michael From owner-freebsd-mozilla@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Apr 5 07:19:43 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-mozilla@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9821A37B401 for ; Sat, 5 Apr 2003 07:19:43 -0800 (PST) Received: from rusunix.org (rusunix.org [195.162.58.254]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0AA0443F3F for ; Sat, 5 Apr 2003 07:19:43 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from aquatique@rusunix.org) Received: by rusunix.org (CommuniGay Pro, from userid 1111) id 547551CD22D; Sat, 5 Apr 2003 22:19:40 +0700 (OMSST) From: "Evgueni V. I saw such a gotcha with "Find as you type" feature being turned on. Turning it off solved the case. -- http://aquatique.rusunix.org From owner-freebsd-mozilla@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Apr 5 07:22:50 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-mozilla@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id F1BEF37B401 for ; Sat, 5 Apr 2003 07:22:49 -0800 (PST) Received: from nic-naa.net (216-220-241-233.midmaine.com [216.220.241.233]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E504043FB1 for ; Sat, 5 Apr 2003 07:22:46 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from brunner@nic-naa.net) Received: from nic-naa.net (localhost.nic-naa.net [127.0.0.1]) by nic-naa.net (8.12.9/8.12.9) with ESMTP id h35FI6O8037387; Sat, 5 Apr 2003 10:18:06 -0500 (EST) Message-Id: <200304051518.h35FI6O8037387@nic-naa.net> X-Mailer: exmh version 2.5 07/13/2001 with nmh-1.0.4 To: "Evgueni V. I simply used 'make install clean' in /usr/ports/www/mozilla with no arguments and without the Makefile being changed. michael On Sat, 05 Apr 2003 10:18:06 -0500 Eric Brunner-Williams in Portland Maine wrote: > would you send me your config and any build arguements please. > i'd like to repeat-by. > tia. > eric > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-mozilla@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-mozilla > To unsubscribe, send any mail to > "freebsd-mozilla-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
