I read about this in freebsd-current some and it looks like it might be some combination of libstc++ headers not matching the compiler and a change in the what -pedantic means to g++. I've gone into config/autoconf.mk and removed -pedantic from the compiler flags and managed to get past the place where it was stopping. Still building, though, so we'll see. I've setup a box running FreeBSD 5.1, installed some apps and mozilla 1.3 from /usr/ports/www/mozilla It ran well, so I downloaded the correct (yes, sure) language pack from mozilla.org (franch language pack) and installed it as root. Next time I ran moz, Every test were huge (web pages, menu, dialog box) I removed the package, built and installed it again (quite long), no changes. I haven't made many changes at this point, just build a GENERIC kernel added NVidia drivers. I've seen some hints on google about X fonts (put 75dpi at the top of the list in XF86Config) and such, but none helped. When I commented 75dpi and 100dpi, It felt to some other fonts but still too big to be usable. Has someone any hints? dmesg: ------ Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project. Alright, seems that nvidia driver is causing this behaviour, just reverted to X' own nv driver, and works correctly. Have to figure out how to make them work together now. :/ If any hints, mail me. --=20 > Enfin vivement les procs optique qui ne chaufferont pas trop ;-) Vivement les proc quantiques, en rajoutant un gla=E7on, on pourra m=EAme=20 les boire ...
