According to http://uptime.netcraft.net/up/graph?site=www.ssh.com the host www.ssh.com uses NetBSD or OpenBSD operating system. When my box is configured according to the following expression: net.inet.tcp.rfc1323 == 1 (that is the default for FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE), I have the same trouble with www.netbsd.org like the trouble that I have with www.ssh.com. According to http://uptime.netcraft.net/up/graph?site=www.openbsd.org the host www.openbsd.com uses Solaris operating system. This is why I have no problem with http://www.openbsd.org/ So, the problem with www.ssh.com looks like a bug in NetBSD's or/and OpenBSD's implementation of the TCP protocol. And also, one of the following configurations of my box: MRU == MTU == 1484 (or smaller) or net.inet.tcp.rfc1323 == 0 solves the problem with http://www.netbsd.org/ too. I think that cooperation with NetBSD or/and OpenBSD team(s) would be helpful and efficient for localization of the problem. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
