I run make without any argument, prefering to keep the defaults on everyt= hing. Building has properly achieved, but the "make install" just starts with=20 "Intitializing installation program......", seems to copy binary =20 installation files to /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0, and then stops here=20 without completing the port installation process (don't return to prompt,= but=20 just stays uncompleted. ps -aux reports no activity). I did'nt found the problem mentionned on the Internet. Should I force the= port=20 registration, and then goes on with install-user? (I tried it, but the=20 installation program complains about a missing "setup.ins". I guess I cou= ld=20 use the one located in=20 /usr/ports/french/openoffice/work/oo_1.0.2_src/instsetoo/unxfbsd.pro/33/n= ormal/setup.ins.=20 Anyway, the main Makefile contains post-installation operations that I=20 would'nt like to bypass. What's your opinion about it? Another question: I saw that openoffice required the build of some versio= n of=20 mozilla that is older than the one I freshly built from port (1.2.1): wil= l=20 some shared library of mozilla 1.2.1 be overwritten by the openoffice=20 installation? If this was the case, would it be safe to make reinstall=20 mozilla 1.2.1 to restore the latests libs without compromizing openoffice= ? By the way, since the building of that port required a lots of disk space= ,=20 dependences and patience, I wondered if I should made my build available = as a=20 package for some other french users? (I'm relatively new to FreeBSD, and = I do=20 not know exactly if this could be a good idea, but I'm suggesting it just= in=20 case... What do you think?) Please do not hesitate to ask for any further information. And last but not least, thanks a lot for your work on that huge port!
