Hi, I try to use a Dell aac-364 raid controller with FreeBSD. But there are a lot of aac0 device timeouts after 1 or 2 minutes after installing the /bin-package over network. I tried 4.8R, 4.9pre and 5.1R. The problem seems to be always the same. The Container consists of three disks in a RAID-5 setup. I "scrubt" des Container the long way, as recommended in the controller-setup. What release is known to work with this controller? Is it worth to try Current? Does the controller/driver dislike RAID 5? The firmware is updated to 2.7-1 which seems to be the latest fron Dells site. Mainboard is an ASUS NRL-LS, 2GB ECC Reg., 3 x IBM DNES 18GB, LVD Thanks for infos
