Does anybody can point me to some hints/how-to about the folowing problem? I have sendmail with SASL authentication. All users have to authenticate themselves. But I'd like to have option to allow user1 to send mail to other users of the same domain and to any other user in any other domain. But user2, for examle, can send mail to any users ONLY in the same domain, i.e. not to relay. Is it possible? How can I achive such approach? Thanks! -- Sincerely yours, Artyom V. Looking at 'top' can also help. -- -Chuck From owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Aug 31 10:24:07 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A17FD16A4CE for ; Tue, 31 Aug 2004 10:24:07 +0000 (GMT) Received: from proxy.riic.at (www.riic.uni-linz.ac.at [140.78.161.123]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4568843D1D for ; Tue, 31 Aug 2004 10:24:04 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from hueber@riic.at) Received: from hanni.riic.uni-linz.ac.at (hanni.riic.uni-linz.ac.at [140.78.161.78])i7V9jZ2S028587; Tue, 31 Aug 2004 11:45:36 +0200 Date: Tue, 31 Aug 2004 12:24:01 +0200 From: Gernot Hueber To: Josh Paetzel Message-ID: <20040831102401.GQ31265@hanni.riic.uni-linz.ac.at> References: <412E35B2.7080003@mac.com> <200408261514.15896.josh@tcbug.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; Format=Flowed; DelSp=Yes; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit In-Reply-To: <200408261514.15896.josh@tcbug.org> (from josh@tcbug.org on Thu, Aug 26, 2004 at 22:14:15 +0200) X-Mailer: Balsa 2.0.18 Lines: 49 cc: isp@freebsd.org Subject: Re: Performance RAID setup... I wrote an email to the people mentioned in the iir man page asking for clarity on the supported hardware etc, and didn't get a response... The fact that you are seeing change is a good thing... SOMEONE is doing something to the code - does anyone know who? If I get the new gear, I could set up remote console access so that the appropriate person could work on it... that level of C is well beyond me, but I figure providing access to the gear would help - does anyone know who to communicate with? The new boards SE7520JR2 don't support / aren't certified / recommended with some of the older storage controllers... I could use it with an adaptec - but that seems like a crime when there such neat offerings from Intel with such impressive specs. The new board supports "HOSTRAID" - not sure what that is, but neither is anyone at intel support ;-) I've seen references to adaptec, but the controllers on board are LSI Logic - not adaptec. The compatibility matrix: http://www.intel.com/design/servers/buildingblocks/boardsmatrix.htm Seems to indicate SRCS16, SCRZCRX, and SRCU42X are compatible options... SRCS16 is a SATA raid controller.... SRCU42X seems like it's over the top for my needs... the most expensive one... SRCZCRX seems most appropriate for me. My goal - after discussion and feedback from the list is to run RAID mirror sets of 10K scsi drives... so hardware xor speed isn't important - it's quite a basic setup. If I use the old generation boards, the SCRZCR will be appropriate - but it doesn't work - except on the beta? So the hope of seeing the SCRZCR work is slim eh? So - how do I get to the people who can tell me if it's supported? Or so I can get them the resources to debug? Or should I just stick to a ADAPTEC 2120S or a LSI 3201064KIT MEGARAID U320-1? I'd like to create callback server, using ppp, mgetty, FreeRadius on my FreeBSD 4.10-RELEASE-p2 PC. Callback users can specify phone numbers to call them back. And I'd like to have this numbers in accounting records, but ppp does not send Called-Station-Id and Calling-Station-Id in accounting packets. So here is the question: is it possible to tell ppp to send this attributes to radius? and how to do this? -- С уважением, Dmitriy mailto:milashenko@uaic.net From owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Sep 1 12:50:48 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 640B616A4CE for ; Wed, 1 Sep 2004 12:50:48 +0000 (GMT) Received: from mproxy.gmail.com (mproxy.gmail.com [216.239.56.249]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4F85E43D48 for ; Wed, 1 Sep 2004 12:50:48 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from shellguard@gmail.com) Received: by mproxy.gmail.com with SMTP id u33so86376cwc for ; Wed, 01 Sep 2004 05:50:44 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.11.120.78 with SMTP id s78mr23636cwc; Wed, 01 Sep 2004 05:50:44 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.11.122.50 with HTTP; Wed, 1 Sep 2004 05:50:43 -0700 (PDT) Message-ID: <6a9efe260409010550208edff@mail.gmail.com> Date: Wed, 1 Sep 2004 15:50:43 +0300 From: Andrey Popovich To: Dmitriy Milashenko In-Reply-To: <425194124.20040901123951@uaic.net> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable References: <425194124.20040901123951@uaic.net> cc: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org Subject: Re: ppp radius callback Calling-Station-Id X-BeenThere: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list Reply-To: Andrey Popovich List-Id: Internet Services Providers List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 01 Sep 2004 12:50:48 -0000 No, as I remember, you can't tell ppp to do that. I dont recall which OS it was that was reporting this error though. Might want to hit the archives of the dhcpd list and see if its there. After consulting with my Sr. Admin. It was determined that DHCP should not even be running on the server so I killed the daemon entirely and it looks like all errors are gone. However, the information that you have provided to me will be of great use in case one of our DHCP servers do end up having this problem.
