I have the absolutely same problem here with my Toshiba Satellite A10-131.

It just hangs during boot. I have tried booting FreeBSD 5.2 with/without ACPI. Haven't tried booting FreeBSD 4 but I suppose that is not the point.  Any suggestions anybody?
