4.8 build of mozilla 1.6. this build is now available also at the
'contributed builds' section of the mozilla download page]

i have created an unofficial "official" build of mozilla 1.6 for
freeBSD4.8 at:

i have run through many (though not all) of the smoke tests. since i
seldom see FreeBSD builds (other than nightly) on the mozilla web site
(perhaps i am looking in the wrong place), i thought i would share this
with others who may be interested.
i am new to building mozilla, so please excuse any obvious mistakes.
this build includes the calendar client. here is the README:
