FreeBSD and NetBSD is still mentioned on the following webpage together 
with ekkoBSD:

Are there anyone working on these ports right now? How far have they 
come? Both the Pegasos and Pegasos2? Would be intresting to hear how it 
goes since I both love the various BSDs and would like to get a myself a 
Pegasos2.
