The disk array works well when working under 160M/s mode, and 320M/s mode for RELENG_4 and Linux 2.4.20-8(?) from a stock RedHat 9 installation. I am trying to figure out what is happening in our mpt(4) driver which has caused this. Any help is appreciated. More information upon request. Some more information: - One of these disk arries works well under 160M/s mode and RELENG_4 - One of these disk arries does not work at all under FreeBSD - Both of them works well under Linux and OpenBSD 3.6 (snapshot, i386) I'm trying to figure out why. It seems that OpenBSD's mpt(4) did something different from ours, however, I have hit some trouble porting their code due to busdma interface difference. I have a preliminary hacked port of OpenBSD's ``new'' features (without the firmware feature) but the result is not quite hearten. I try to do a more in-depth attempt on this.
