You may want to make sure you have enough space to handle the influx, or temporarily block the updates until you can make space. It is likely that I will have to some make minor revisions to these package sets after the initial upload, but they should not require a lot of replacements. In the near future I will also be deleting the packages-6-current/ package sets and replacing them with a packages-6-stable/ set. It would be better if I could symlink the latter for now, but unfortunately I think rsync doesn't cope well when symlinks suddenly turn into directories (unless this has changed since the last time I got into trouble from you guys for doing it :-) Kris --envbJBWh7q8WU6mo Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFDTgE0Wry0BWjoQKURAoWCAJ9j3/0Vt6ICtgAjerztcUaCE97NTQCeOkkG DuowKcKdxC9vRLSukjqOUzw= =tv8I -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --envbJBWh7q8WU6mo-- From owner-freebsd-hubs@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Oct 14 13:58:43 2005 Return-Path: X-Original-To: hubs@freebsd.org Delivered-To: freebsd-hubs@FreeBSD.ORG Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E0FFB16A41F for ; Fri, 14 Oct 2005 13:58:43 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from rodolfo.boraso@gmail.com) Received: from qproxy.gmail.com (qproxy.gmail.com [72.14.204.205]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6C4C443D48 for ; Fri, 14 Oct 2005 13:58:43 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from rodolfo.boraso@gmail.com) Received: by qproxy.gmail.com with SMTP id a39so290178qbd for ; Fri, 14 Oct 2005 06:58:42 -0700 (PDT) DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; q=dns; c=nofws; s=beta; d=gmail.com; h=received:message-id:date:from:to:subject:mime-version:content-type; b=YKX22hoNM8lpF9B6jx2ltSmVSybFFTM8K8rMl19FWsf7ZweQENC3icWGxLBsRlkfQHTaqnvWbaHVx/ElM+Jx9wsuLf1LtNKxzLyGSlMNJplTN2Cc5ozewmRLZrL7wqcHFbgCZBwNHnKpIsQS/ahrjMtd/L1lFrR08/WZr53Vp9s= Received: by 10.65.116.4 with SMTP id t4mr1997984qbm; Fri, 14 Oct 2005 06:58:42 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.65.139.12 with HTTP; Fri, 14 Oct 2005 06:58:42 -0700 (PDT) Message-ID: Date: Fri, 14 Oct 2005 15:58:42 +0200 From: Rodolfo Boraso To: hubs@freebsd.org MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Cc: Subject: New FreeBSD mirror in Italy X-BeenThere: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: "FreeBSD Distributions Hubs: mail sup ftp" List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Fri, 14 Oct 2005 13:58:44 -0000 Hi all, I'm Rodolfo Boraso and work in a association able to host a FreeBSD mirror in a new NAP named Top-IX (www.top-ix.org ). We hav= e a 100Mbps connection over Internet. Now the italian mirror is in a academic network (unina.it ) but it is dedicated to Universities, so we think to make available a secondo mirror, with our hw, using a very good connection to other people like private companies and students at home= . I kindly ask to you to open your main master to us ( I receive soon a publi= c ip address and so I forward it to you both name and ip address). Expecting your favorable reply, With Regards Rodolfo Boraso
