We're a broad engineering firm that handles everything from automated security systems to networking, creation of custom network appliances, application scalability and integration, and facility neutral colocation. We're looking for people with some or all of the following skills: Programming: *) C *) Qt/C++ *) Ruby (a strong plus, not required: will train) *) Asynchronous messaging systems *) perl or PHP (though neither will be used often on the job) Database: *) PostgreSQL *) Oracle *) Versant/Matisse *) MySQL or SQLite will suffice for RDBMS familiarity, but will never be used on the job Networking: *) ipfw/pf *) BGP *) MPLS (ideal, but not required) Web: HTML, CSS, JavaScript I know this is brief and and the skills that we're looking for cover a huge cross section of computing. For that, I apologize, but, we're looking for people with a wide range of talents who are self-starters, need an environment to thrive in outside of stuffy Fortune 500 companies, etc. jobs@gigave.com. Students looking for Summer internships, colo work, networking, or product development, please don't hesitate to inquire. We're looking for/training entry level talent (6mo-2years), and are actively or are picking up medium to highly skilled engineers (2-7 years, 7+) and will fill in knowledge/skill gaps as necessary. Beyond that, the sky is the limit. Please send resumes in plain text or pdf's. Word documents will result in instant disqualification. Thanks in advance. -sc -- Sean Chittenden
