To make a successful turn, the aircraft would have had to bank so steeply that it might have stalled, the NTSB said in an update on the crash. The flames overran the fire crew, destroyed 34 homes and charred more than 60 square miles before being contained Monday. Raising securelevel can prevent a lot of things from working, but we can't try to document them all in the manpage. This issue is already mentioned in the FAQ; maybe a mention in the "X Window System" section of the handbook is worth considering. Hi Martin, Using nsgmls is not the recommended way of building or testing the documentation, as far as I know. If you use the doc/ Makefiles, then the correct SGML_CATALOG_FILES will be used. You can even build the doc/ tree _without_ _anything_ in SGML_CATALOG_FILES. I'm not sure I would find it nice if we started recommending that people bypass the entire doc/ Makefile framework and use nsgmls manually themselves. - Giorgos From owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Sun Nov 5 18:27:17 2006 Return-Path: X-Original-To: freebsd-doc@hub.freebsd.org Delivered-To: freebsd-doc@hub.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id DC98016A412; Sun, 5 Nov 2006 18:27:17 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from keramida@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [216.136.204.21]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 76C5E43D6A; Sun, 5 Nov 2006 18:27:17 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from keramida@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (keramida@localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.13.4/8.13.4) with ESMTP id kA5IRHSU003861; Sun, 5 Nov 2006 18:27:17 GMT (envelope-from keramida@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from keramida@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.13.4/8.13.4/Submit) id kA5IRHkx003857; Sun, 5 Nov 2006 18:27:17 GMT (envelope-from keramida) Date: Sun, 5 Nov 2006 18:27:17 GMT From: Giorgos Keramidas Message-Id: <200611051827.kA5IRHkx003857@freefall.freebsd.org> To: keramida@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org, keramida@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Re: docs/48980: [patch] nsgmls -s errors and sect. 3.2.1 of the fdp-primer X-BeenThere: freebsd-doc@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Documentation project List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 05 Nov 2006 18:27:17 -0000 Synopsis: [patch] nsgmls -s errors and sect. 3.2.1 of the fdp-primer Responsible-Changed-From-To: freebsd-doc->keramida Responsible-Changed-By: keramida Responsible-Changed-When: Sun Nov 5 18:26:42 UTC 2006 Responsible-Changed-Why: I know why this happens. These represent problem reports covering all versions including experimental development code and obsolete releases. Bugs can be in one of several states: o - open A problem report has been submitted, no sanity checking performed. a - analyzed The problem is understood and a solution is being sought. f - feedback Further work requires additional information from the originator or the community - possibly confirmation of the effectiveness of a proposed solution. p - patched A patch has been committed, but some issues (MFC and / or confirmation from originator) are still open. r - repocopy The resolution of the problem report is dependent on a repocopy operation within the CVS repository which is awaiting completion. s - suspended The problem is not being worked on, due to lack of information or resources. This is a prime candidate for somebody who is looking for a project to do. If the problem cannot be solved at all, it will be closed, rather than suspended. c - closed A problem report is closed when any changes have been integrated, documented, and tested -- or when fixing the problem is abandoned. It doesn't appear here but progress has been made on xorg-modular front, thanks to people reporting bugs on x11@ or directly to me. If you're interested in trying it, please refer to the ModularXorg page on the FreeBSD Wiki [1]. Anyway I'd like to thank each and every committer/participant who joined the channel during the week end. I hope to see even more people during next event. Happy bugbusting! That's right. We need to keep _SUBDIRUSE for the package target. I'm pretty satisfied with the way this has worked out, so I'm going to commit the change, er, let's say "sometime soon". :-) Thanks guys for looking at this! In handbook it is described how to build ndis-drivers for wireless cards with ndiscvt -i *.inf -s *.sys -o ndis_driver_data.h but in modern freebsd6.x this method doesn't work! I suppose it would be better to change it to using this scenario: It's supposed that you again have windows driver files... ndisgen ... here we are answering interactive questions and get tnet1130_sys.ko on output ... cp tnet1130_sys.ko /boot/kernel/ kldload ndis kldload if_ndis kldload tnet1130_sys And it really works! so... -- With best regards, Alexander Sashurin a.k.a.
