Just curious, would any of the work done on OpenBSD be directly
relevant to the FreeBSD PPC port for example on Pegasos?

  It could be a useful reference, but the driver model is different 
enough on FreeBSD that code would have to be significantly reworked.

What about the reverse? Could the FreeBSD code be an inspiration to the
NetBSD guys (whichever works first, basically?)
