Nothing was "stopped" but for the last few years OpenBSD/alpha suffered from a reliability bug ("The Alpha Bug") where all alphas would sooner or later suffer a mysterious crash--some machines made it through several make world runs without problem, some would crash several times during a single make world. This bug is now gone. OpenBSD/alpha is reliable again. Graphics console and X11 support is somewhat limited, but then the recent X.org 7.2 update also killed X11 on my PC164 under FreeBSD. -- Christian "naddy" Weisgerber naddy@mips.inka.de
