I'm using pvm-3.4.5_2 from ports. I couldn't figure out how to run the master and slave on the same machine, so I ran the master on an i386 Linux box (debian unstable, with pvm 3.4.5-9) and the slave on FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE-p7/amd64, and master and slave produce the same output. I also tried sending the data the other way with the same result. -- Nate Eldredge nge@cs.hmc.edu From owner-freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Oct 17 18:20:03 2007 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-amd64@hub.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0824C16A468 for ; Wed, 17 Oct 2007 18:20:03 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gnats@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::28]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id CBF9713C458 for ; Wed, 17 Oct 2007 18:20:02 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gnats@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (gnats@localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.1/8.14.1) with ESMTP id l9HIK2fD093509 for ; Wed, 17 Oct 2007 18:20:02 GMT (envelope-from gnats@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from gnats@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.1/8.14.1/Submit) id l9HIK2k9093508; Wed, 17 Oct 2007 18:20:02 GMT (envelope-from gnats) Date: Wed, 17 Oct 2007 18:20:02 GMT Message-Id: <200710171820.l9HIK2k9093508@freefall.freebsd.org> To: freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org From: Bruce Cran X-Mailman-Approved-At: Wed, 17 Oct 2007 21:12:16 +0000 Cc: Subject: Re: amd64/112222: [libc] 32-bit libc incorrectly converts some FP numbers X-BeenThere: freebsd-amd64@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list Reply-To: Bruce Cran List-Id: Porting FreeBSD to the AMD64 platform List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 17 Oct 2007 18:20:03 -0000 The following reply was made to PR amd64/112222; it has been noted by GNATS.
