At least two chipsets mentioned there does BOOT with FreeBSD, but under even moderate lad they fail. I'd LOVE to see REAL compatibility list Alex. I have a box with i865-Chipset aka ICH5 and sata @home. ICH9 is=20 currently unsupported. You need a patch I mentioned in pr=3D114473. I also use 3ware Raidcontrollers (8006-2 and 9550) with FreeBSD without=20 any problems. Micha! It will be a "REAL compatibility list" as people make it one.
