Now, even though I have jails_enable=3D"YES" in my host rc.conf, =20 and the parameters are defined, it does not start on boot time. Also, =20 if I try to start it using the rc script like /etc/rc.d/jail start =20 , it says configuring jail: and then Starting Jail: and simply =20 sits there. to test it, I have run it manually, like jail /Path/To/Jail /bin/sh /etc/rc and it ran properly -- like the services I want to offer from within =20 the jails started (those are not even configured in host, so it has to =20 be the jail), they are serving, but still there is no jail pid in =20 /var/run, no process called jail, and I'm at a loss. I am running FreeBSD 6.2 stable updated last week and rebuilt (both =20 host and jail). Any suggestion, further diagnosis or request for further info is =20 highly appreciated. best regards ------------------------------------------------- This message sent through Virus Free Email http://www.vfemail.net
