In my opinion, you have to have these two steps to resolve the broblem. I had the same problem, but I was able to compile this way! 1. Open this source file with an editor (vi, emacs and the like) "/usr/ports/java/jdk15/work/control/build/bsd-i586/gensrc/sun/nio/cs/StandardCharsets.java" 2. Comment out or delete these three lines in the file. 1. line 226 2. line 389 3. line 429 Each line starts "Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning:", so you have to do this, "//Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning:". Often, these ports are so marked due to security concerns, such as known exploits.
