What kind of board do you have and what kind of uart is it. If your uart is supported by FreeBSD, e.g.: it's ns8250-compatible or something, try looking at malta/uart* files. If it's something unsupported - there are two ways. The first one and the simplest one is to implement CONSOLE_DRIVER interface like in adm5120/console.c, though you'll get output from kernel only. The second one is to implement whole uart interface as in adm5120/uart_* files. -- gonzo From owner-freebsd-mips@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Aug 23 12:54:43 2007 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-mips@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id BFD0A16A417 for ; Thu, 23 Aug 2007 12:54:43 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gilakala@rediffmail.com) Received: from rediffmail.com (f5mail-237-203.rediffmail.com [202.137.237.203]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with SMTP id C408C13C48A for ; Thu, 23 Aug 2007 12:54:42 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gilakala@rediffmail.com) Received: (qmail 1778 invoked by uid 510); 23 Aug 2007 12:26:22 -0000 Date: 23 Aug 2007 12:26:22 -0000 Message-ID: <20070823122622.1777.qmail@f5mail-237-203.rediffmail.com> Received: from unknown (66.17.149.13) by rediffmail.com via HTTP; 23 aug 2007 12:26:22 -0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 From: "chakri" To: freebsd-mips@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Approved-At: Thu, 23 Aug 2007 13:52:05 +0000 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Subject: Cause register is zero due to interrupt X-BeenThere: freebsd-mips@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list Reply-To: chakri List-Id: Porting FreeBSD to MIPS List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Thu, 23 Aug 2007 12:54:43 -0000 =0AHi,=0A=0AI am working on MIPS processor.
